Job Description

The Channel Sales Manager is responsible for establishing new channel accounts and manage current channels and contact points. The role serves as the primary contact point to channel partners for all their requirements with a primary focus for sales via channel partners.

The Channel Sales Manager is expected to:

  • Coordinate and building opportunity to educate and provide updates to channel partners on technologies or solutions.
  • Establishes and maintains country/account plans to promote sales growth.
  • Achieves assigned quota for products, services, and software.
  • Lead annual plan on local expansion on depth and width to achieve business growth and coverage objectives.
  • Develop sales model which is productive, cost effective and ensuring coverage.

Requirements:

  1.  Education and Experience
    • Have the right attitude & aptitude
    • Good language and communication skills
    • Typically, 3 to 5 years of selling experience at end-user account or partner level
    • Solid experience in selling to partners in a complex environment
  1.  Knowledge and Skills
    • Understand and manoeuvre within the IT security ecosystem
    • Able to position products to complement channel partner offerings
    • Able to effectively communicate sales offerings, and overcome objections
    • Build of strategic relationships with Channel Partner decision makers
    • Experience on IT security space would be beneficial
    • Partners effectively with others in the account to ensure coordinated efficient account management
    • Motivate Channel Partners and Channel driven sales persons
    • Value add to Channel Partner’s Sales Ecosystem
    • Understanding of sales pipeline management

Remuneration:

  • Basic Salary with Commission
  • Commission based on Tiered Targets
    (On Target Earnings per annum should be in the six-figure range)

Job Description

The Solution Engineer is responsible for to provide technical sales and support to the Product Manager within the same sales team. The role serves as the primary contact point for all customers and sales personnel looking for technical assistance during the pre-sale phase with domain knowledge of web application.

The Solution Engineer is expected to:

  • Be a technical product specialist with strong product line understanding.
  • Perform Pre/Post-sales installation & support of products to customers.
  • Perform Proof of Concept and products evaluation to customers.
  • Prepare Post-deployment documentation and conduct user training when required.
  • Conduct technical activities to support sales team.
  • Engineer will be required to travel on-site to customer premises.
  • Additional duties may be assigned.

Requirements:

    • Anti-Distributed Denial of Service Knowledge is preferred

    • A good knowledge or interest in IT Security
    • Ability to work independently and as a team, possess initiative, willing to learn and a can-do attitude
    • Fluent in written and verbal communication skills

Job Description

The Product Manager/Product Sales Specialist is responsible for both product selling, marketing and management of the go-to-market strategy. The role is to manage the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing customer’s product requirements, defining product vision, and working closely with the sales engineer (direct report to Product Manager), to deliver winning solutions to customers.

The Product Manager is expected to:

  • Responsible for managing the products within a specific set or group/type of products.
  • Be the product evangelist within a specific set or group/type of products.
  • Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap.
  • Meet the quota expectations of the Product Vendors that he/she is assigned to manage.
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Review with the Vendor/s.
  • Deliver Marketing goals.
  • Work with pre-sales and sales for product sales opportunities.
  • Work with the security sales engineer to craft product demo scripts and requirements to potential customers.
  • Meet revenue and profitability goals.
  • Deliver a periodic revenue and profitability forecast.
  • Develop sales tools and collaterals.
  • Propose an overall budget to ensure success.
  • Meet quarterly sales targets for both Gross Profit and Revenue.
  • Brief and train the sales force at weekly and monthly training meetings (Timeshared with other Product Managers).

Requirements:

  • Have the right attitude & aptitude
  • Experience with Anti-Distributed Denial of Service Solutions and/or Encryption (with PKI background) Preferred
  • Demonstrated success in launching products
  • Demonstrated success in selling IT Security products
  • Beneficial to have at least 3 years of experience in a distribution company in the IT Security Industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Technical Sales background and interest
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Must be able to travel 20% of the time (Varying)
  • Diploma or Degree in Information Security Courses Preferred but not essential

The Business Development Executive is expected to:

  • To develop and grow new business opportunities in the assigned customer accounts.
  • Cultivate good working relationship with customers and ensure customer’s satisfaction.
  • To develop and execute business plan, sales & marketing strategies with our internal Product Manager.
  • Create, manage and follow up on sales leads and referrals.
  • Perform cold calling to prospects, setting appointments for customer’s visit.
  • Achieve/Exceed assigned sales target.

Requirements:

  1.  Education and Experience
    • Have the right attitude & aptitude
    • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma certificate
    • Written and verbal english communication skills
    • Able to work independently, aggressive and willing to travel within Malaysia
    • Preferably with 1-2 years of selling experience
