Job Description

The Product Manager/Product Sales Specialist is responsible for both product selling, marketing and management of the go-to-market strategy. The role is to manage the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing customer’s product requirements, defining product vision, and working closely with the sales engineer (direct report to Product Manager), to deliver winning solutions to customers.

The Product Manager is expected to:

  • Define the product roadmap and go-to-market strategy.
  • Need to work closely with the assigned product vendor.
  • Meet the quota assigned by the Product Vendors.
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Review with Vendor/s.
  • Prepare Business Plan and execute the plan on timely manner.
  • Determines customer’s requirement and position product solution accordingly by working closely with the sales engineer.
  • Assesses market competition by comparing assigned products to competitors’ products.
  • Weekly sales forecast submission to both management team and also assigned product vendors.  
  • Act as the main contact point with the assigned product vendors.
  • Develop sales tools and product collateral.
  • Sales Enablement to the internal sales channel team.
  • Organize regular product workshop for both partner’s sales & technical team.
  • Planning and Executing Lead Generation activity which contribute to the consistent pipeline of the assigned products.

 Requirements:

  • Have the RIGHT ATTITUDE & APTITUDE
  • Demonstrated success in selling IT Security products.
  • Beneficial to have at least 3 years of experience in a distribution company in the IT Security Industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
  • Technical Sales background.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Must be able to travel 20% of the time (Varying)
  • “Diploma or Degree in Information Security Courses Preferred but not essential”

  • Basic Salary with Commission

Job Description

Post Sales Security Engineer (PSSE) is responsible to implement IT security solutions. Reporting to Post Sales Deployment Manager, PSSE manages project implementation activities following a customer sale. PSSE ensures customer implementations are completed on-time and within budget, thereby realizing the firm’s sales and profitability targets while meeting customer expectations for a successful implementation.

 Responsibilities:

  • Implement and integrate security products such as Firewalls, Domain Name Servers, Vulnerability Management, Intrusion Detection, etc.
  • Documentation for project requirements
  • Provide after sales support service and technical support (24×7 SLA)
  • Manage and follow the project implementation life cycle
  • Deliver user training and knowledge transfer session

 Requirements:

  1. Education and Experience Required:
  • Have the RIGHT ATTITUDE & APTITUDE
  • Good language and communication skills
  • Minimally Poly or A-Levels or equivalent.
  1. Knowledge and Skills Required (Beneficial):
  • Experience in security system integrator environment is an added advantage.
  • Working knowledge of MS Visio and Gantt Chart
  • Hand – on experience with Web Security, DNS, Firewall, PAM solutions is highly advantage
  • Good knowledge on networking: TCP/IP, firewall, switching and routing
  • Good knowledge on setting up Windows/Linux servers and VM
  • Willingness to work after office hour and standby during weekend
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in written and verbal communication skills
  • May be required to travel overseas as and when.
  • MCSP or MCSE Certs or Ethical Hacker Cert would be beneficial
  • A good knowledge or interest in IT Security.

Job Description

The Senior Security Engineer is responsible for to provide technical sales and support to the sales team. The role serves as the primary contact point for all customers and sales personnel looking for technical assistance.

The Security Engineer is expected to:

  • Spear head any technical discussion / demonstration for the assigned product
  • Support product manager (specific pairing between security engineer to 1 product manager), to establish and maintain country/account plans to promote sales growth
  • Travelling may be required at times
  • Achieves assigned quota for products, services, and software. Done thru Proof-Of-Concepts, Enablement Workshop for partners and Demonstration of the assigned solutions.

 Requirements:

  1. Education and Experience Required:
  • Have the RIGHT ATTITUDE & APTITUDE
  • Good language and communication skills
  • Sales experience is beneficial
  • Poly or A-Levels or equivalent.
  1. Knowledge and Skills Required (Beneficial):
  • In Depth Knowledge of Windows Environment in a Corporate setting
  • Other Operating systems for Endpoint would be beneficial
  • MCSP or MCSE Certs would be beneficial
  • Operational Technology Knowledge would be beneficial
  • Knowledge in Identity-related solution is a major plus
  • A good knowledge or interest in IT Security.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team, possess initiative, willing to learn and a can-do attitude.
  • Fluent in written and verbal communication skills

  • Responsible for managing the products within a specific set or group/type of products
  • Be the product evangelist within a specific set or group/type of products
  • Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap
  • Meet the quota expectations of the Product Vendors that he/she is assigned to manage.
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Review with the Vendor/s
  • Deliver Marketing goals
  • Work with pre-sales and sales for product sales opportunities
  • Work with the security sales engineer to craft product demo scripts and requirements to potential customers
  • Meet revenue and profitability goals
  • Deliver a periodic revenue and profitability forecast
  • Develop sales tools and collaterals
  • Propose an overall budget to ensure success
  • Meet quarterly sales targets for both Gross Profit and Revenue
  • Brief and train the sales force at weekly and monthly training meetings (Timeshared with other Product Managers)
